A traditional fashion show will mark the silver jubilee
celebration, marking the bifurcation of Tuticorin from Tirunelveli. The
show would be staged on August 19 at Vikasa School, Tuticorin, sources
said on Thursday.
The best of talents would be
selected based on suitable criteria on August 17 ahead of the stage
show. The programme has been designed in various stages. Children up to
five years of age, students from class one to six and students of class
seven to twelve could register their interest to participate in this
event. Besides, the programme is open to students from colleges across
the district. Ten teams of performers would be finalized. Each team
would have six participants, sources added.
